The children’s first aid training we deliver draws on 140 years of experience, dating back to our foundation in 1882. As Scotland’s designated first aid charity we are one of only three official Voluntary Aid Societies in the UK, alongside the British Red Cross and St John Ambulance, and together we co-author the official UK First Aid Manual.
Each year, we train around 20,000 people at our training centres in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and other locations across Scotland. As a charity, course fees do more than fund your certificate, they also support community first aid initiatives, delivered by our incredible volunteers, who contribute over 50,000 hours each year.

What Others Have to Say About Our Training
Our instructor Blair was really friendly and welcoming. He made sure the group clearly understood both the theory and the practical aspects before moving on to the next topic.D D, Trustpilot review
I would highly recommend this paediatric first aid course to anyone responsible for looking after babies or children!
Neil was very informative and put everyone at ease. It was a great course and even although I have done first aid coursers in the past (not paediatric) I learned a lot of new things and feel very confident to put all this into practice. The course was enjoyable and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who works with children or even parents or carers.Denise Laird Herriot, Trustpilot review

Chris our first aid trainer was very friendly and helpful, he made the course educational and lighthearted at the same time… I would 100% recommend to anyone that is interested in doing a paediatric first aid course!Marysa, Trustpilot review
