At St Andrew’s First Aid, we are working to change this. Our Taking the Fear Out of First Aid campaign is here to break down these fears, build confidence, and empower people across Scotland to take action when it matters most.
We launched Taking the Fear Out of First Aid in the heart of Glasgow with influencer Mark Thorburn, challenging passers-by on Buchanan Street to face the unknown with a mysterious box. It was a powerful reminder that stepping in to help during a first aid emergency often feels scarier than it really is.
