Workplace First Aid Training Courses
We offer a wide range of workplace first aid training including the First Aid at Work qualification, Emergency First Aid at Work course and a ‘How to use an AED’ course.
Whatever your requirements we will work with you to find the most appropriate qualification to help you meet the HSE guidance.
Our range of courses also extend to Paediatric, Baby and Child, Sports Injury First Aid and much more. Many of our clients combine courses to ensure that their training complements the needs of their workplace and their customer group.
We offer the businesses a comprehensive range of First Aid at Work and Health and Safety courses. Candidates will learn the importance of safety compliance and workplace standards ensuring that your business conforms to Health and Safety Executive recommendations. The knowledge you or your staff will gain reduces the number of injuries and deaths within a working environment.
Associate Membership Insurance
We are so confident that we provide all of our students with the appropriate skills to be competent first aiders that you will automatically be included free of charge under our ‘Associate Membership Insurance’ cover when you or your employee successfully completes the course.
Health and Safety Training Courses
Our health and safety courses are held in our training centres throughout Scotland. The courses on offer are Fire Marshal and Moving and Handling – Principles. Having your staff trained in these areas can go a long way to fulfilling your health and safety obligations in the workplace. Our knowledgeable staff are happy to discuss your requirements and help find the best solution for you.

Public First Aid Training Courses
We have been teaching first aid to communities in Scotland since our charity was founded in 1882 and are considered leaders in our field. Our tailored courses for members of the public and community groups have been developed over many years to ensure that there is a course for everyone who is interested in learning these lifesaving skills.
Our courses range from basic CPR to the intensive Standard First Aid Course – the benchmark in first aid training.
Many of our courses are tailored to specific aspects of first aid, but they all include an overview of basic first aid skills. Our range includes: Emergency First Aid, Sports Injuries First Aid Levels 1 and 2, Baby and Child First Aid and Standard First Aid.
Our candidates leave with the confidence to provide first aid to their family, friends and the communities in which they live and work, in turn making Scotland a safer and more resilient country.
All of our candidates who successfully complete our public first aid training courses are covered by Associate Membership Insurance during the period of their certificate.

Baby and Child and Adult Life Saving Skills
Our online training courses provide a new, convenient and affordable way to learn basic life saving skills. Courses can be completed anywhere even in the comfort of your own home. Each of the online courses are based on international standards and conform to the current European Resuscitation Council guidelines. They are also approved by St Andrew’s First Aid’s Medical and First Aid Committee and have CPD certification.
