Community Talks and Demos
St Andrew’s First Aid believes no one should suffer or die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it.
That’s why our dedicated volunteers travel across Scotland providing donation-based first aid talks and demonstrations for community groups. Each year, St Andrew’s First Aid volunteers give up more than 50,000 hours delivering invaluable first aid sessions to more than 12,000 community members.
Invite St Andrew’s First Aid volunteers to your local shopping centre, transport hub, or main street to engage with passersby with basic first aid demonstrations.
Invite us to hold an informal workshop for your local community group or charity. Our demonstrations and talks can be tailored to your audience and cover just one topic in a lot of details; or could be a broader overview on many different first aid situations.
Our talks and demonstrations will provide a general overview of how to save a life. If there are any specific topics which you would like us to cover, please let us know.
First Aid For All
We are delighted to deliver first aid talks and demonstrations in order to share the skills needed to save a life. In order to make life-saving first aid skills accessible to many of Scotland’s vulnerable groups and community organisations, St Andrew’s First Aid’s community talks are a donation-based charitable service.
We receive no government funding and rely on generous donations from organisations, trusts and the public. To allow us to continue our vital work, we would like to ask you to donate to St Andrew’s First Aid and help us to ensure a life is saved rather than lost.
