Together we can save lives
St Andrew’s First Aid are very fortunate to receive donations from individuals, trusts and companies who allow us to continue providing vital first aid skills, services and volunteering opportunities throughout Scotland.
In November 2015 we were delighted to unveil our partnership with Scotmid Cooperative who have agreed to sponsor our first aid volunteer uniform until 2017. Scotmid is a members-based organisation with very similar values to our own and is therefore an excellent partner for us. The donation has come from a portion of money generated from the sale of single use carrier bags in Scotmid and Semichem stores during the previous twelve months. Scotmid has so far supported several causes with sponsorship of the St Andrew’s First Aid uniforms being the largest donation to date.
St Andrew’s First Aid Chief Executive, Stuart Callison said, “This is an extremely generous sponsorship by Scotmid and will make a huge difference to our charity. As a co-operative, Scotmid’s values, in particular their emphasis on supporting local communities and young people, make them an ideal sponsorship partner for St Andrew’s and we look forward to working closely with Scotmid in years to come.” Malcolm Brown, Scotmid’s Head of Corporate Communications said, “Scotmid wants to ensure that donations from carrier bag charges will have long-term social benefits and that the Society supports organisations that our members and customers hold in high esteem. By sponsoring St Andrew’s First Aid, we can ensure that carrier bag revenues generated in Scotmid and Semichem stores deliver meaningful and sustainable benefits to our communities and reward those selfless individuals who give so much to keep our communities safe.”
Arnold Clark helped to keep St Andrew’s First Aid on the move through the donation of a long wheel base transit van in June 2016. The van will enable us to continue our invaluable work throughout the country. Chief Executive of St Andrew’s First Aid, Stuart Callison expressed his gratitude saying:
“I would like to thank Arnold Clark for generously supporting St Andrew’s First Aid. The vehicle they have donated will enable us reach more people across Scotland, especially those in rural and remote areas, and help us on our mission to create a nation of lifesavers.”
Managing Director of Arnold Clark Eddie Hawthorne said:
‘We’re delighted to support this vital organisation and we’re confident our donated van will help them to educate the public about the importance of first aid and provide critical support at more events.”
St Andrew’s First Aid are absolutely delighted to receive a loan of a top of the range Dacia Duster from Dacia UK to assist our volunteers at first aid events across Scotland. The Dacia will be an invaluable asset to the charity and we are extremely grateful to Dacia UK for supporting us in our potentially life saving work.
The generous support we receive allows St Andrew’s First Aid to deliver excellence in first aid across Scotland.
Thank you from everyone at St Andrew’s First Aid.
