Sales Advisor

Location: St Andrew’s House, 48 Milton Street, Glasgow, G4 0HR.
Salary: £25,315 pa plus bonus scheme
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our commercial team who will be responsible for proactively contacting our existing customers and targeting new customers, driving our business growth and revenue generation for first aid training and supplies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive for sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
• Making outbound calls to new and existing customers offering our workplace training and supplies products and services.
• Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers at the same time identifying key decision makers and influencers within each organisation.
• Research and target potential new business customers generating new business leads and sales opportunities.
• Maximise every sales opportunity by promoting our full range of workplace courses including mental health training and supplies products e.g. defibrillators and first aid kits.
• Prepare and present customer quotes, proposals and sales presentations using all available sales materials.
• Build and manage a strong and successful sales pipeline.
• Handle any inbound sales calls and customer queries.
• Expand your professional network through the strategic use of LinkedIn and other networking platforms.
• Maintain accurate and up to date customer records including sales opportunities on our Training Management System.

Requirements
• Minimum of two years B2B sales experience.
• Experience in outbound calling within a busy sales environment.
• Experience of prospecting and working your own sales leads.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to close sales successfully.
• Strong drive to achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using IT systems relevant to sales processes; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
• Strong team-working, organisational and time management skills.
