Events Scheduler

Location: Glasgow

Salary: c. £24,500 per annum (£13.53 per hour)

Hours: Part time or full time (up to 35 hours per week)

Contract: Fixed term – initial 3 months

St Andrew’s First Aid is Scotland’s dedicated first aid charity and a leading provider of first aid training and event first aid services. Through our professional volunteer network, we provide first aid cover at major and community events across Scotland.

We are seeking an Events Scheduler to support the co-ordination of first aid provision at events.

Reporting to the Client, Service & Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that events are accurately scheduled, appropriately resourced and professionally supported. Working closely with Event Administrators and volunteers, you will use our Volunteer Relationship Management system (Better Impact) to add events, monitor volunteer engagement and highlight any capacity issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Adding and maintaining event information on Better Impact
  • Monitoring volunteer engagement and highlighting capacity risks
  • Managing enquiries from volunteers and clients
  • Supporting booking documentation and quotations
  • Processing event data and casualty recognition forms
  • Supporting logistics and consumables ordering
  • Building positive relationships with volunteers and internal teams

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and confident working in a team environment. Strong communication skills and accuracy in data handling are essential.

This is a fixed-term role for an initial three-month period. Both part-time and full-time applications will be considered.
