First Aid Courses
Last year over 15,000 students qualified in First Aid and Health and Safety with us at our dedicated training centres across Scotland. We also delivered a wide range of courses on our customer premises.
Our Course Types:
Workplace First Aid Courses
We offer a wide range of workplace First Aid training including the First Aid at Work qualification, Emergency First Aid at Work course and a ‘How to use an AED’ course.
Whatever your requirements we will work with you to find the most appropriate qualification to help you meet the HSE guidance.
We offer the businesses we work with a comprehensive range of First Aid at Work and Health and Safety courses. Candidates will learn the importance of safety compliance and workplace standards ensuring that your business conforms to Health and Safety Executive recommendations. The knowledge you or your staff will gain reduces the number of injuries and deaths within a working environment.
Associate Membership Insurance
We are so confident that we provide all of our students with the appropriate skills to be competent First Aiders that you will automatically be included free of charge under our ‘Associate Membership Insurance’ cover when you or your employee successfully completes the course.
Health and Safety Courses
Our Health and Safety Courses are held in our training centres throughout Scotland. The courses on offer are Fire Marshal and Moving and Handling (principles). Having your staff trained in these areas can go a long way to fulfilling your Health and Safety obligations in the workplace. Our knowledgeable staff are happy to discuss your requirements and help find the best solution for you.
Public First Aid Courses
We have been teaching First Aid to communities in Scotland since our charity was founded in 1882 and are considered leaders in our field. Our tailored courses for members of the public and community groups have been developed over many years to ensure that there is a course for everyone who is interested in learning these lifesaving skills.
Many of our courses are tailored to specific aspects of First Aid, however they all include an overview of basic First Aid Skills. Our range includes; Emergency First Aid, Sports Injury First Aid Levels 1 and 2), Baby and Child and Standard First Aid.
Our candidates leave with the confidence to provide First Aid to their family, friends and the communities in which they live and work in turn helping making Scotland a safer and more resilient country.
All of our candidates who successfully complete our public First Aid Training Courses are covered by Associate Membership Insurance during the period of their certificate.
