A message from our managing Director

Dear Customer,

For the past 8 years our social enterprise has trained thousands of customers across Scotland in first aid. We are passionate about what we do and we thrive on teaching new skills that contribute to our mission of creating a nation of life-savers. We also know how important first aid is to you and your place of work – an essential skill that is required by legislation.

We made the difficult decision two weeks ago to close our premises to adhere to government guidelines and to do our bit to keep our colleagues and customers safe. This was not a decision that we took lightly but one which had the best interests of all at heart.

We truly value all of our customers and we know that some of you will have had to delay your training, perhaps had it postponed halfway through or for some, you may have been just about to book re-qualifications.

Whatever your circumstances we stand ready to get you and your workplace up to speed as soon as we re-open.

Over the past two weeks our experienced trainers have been reviewing our lesson and session plans to enhance them for you. We are also looking at some options to offer you online mental health awareness courses – please do watch this space! Lastly our trainers have been focusing on their professional development and will be back ready to be of service to you.

If we can help you in the meantime or if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch by phone on 0300 4 666 999 or by emailing info@firstaid.org.uk

We very much look forward to seeing you soon. Until then please do take care. We will get through this together.

With very best wishes from all of our team at St Andrew’s First Aid.
