Meet our 2019 Charity Ambassador

Miss Scotland Linzi McLelland signs up to be our 2019 Charity Ambassador!

On top of her day job as a cabin crew member for Emirates and her numerous new projects as part of her Miss UK title, Linzi McLelland will use her new platform to share the work of important Scottish charities, including St Andrew’s First Aid.

Linzi McLelland was named Miss Scotland 2018 and then went on to compete in the Miss World grand final held in China and took home the prestigious title of Miss UK.

Throughout her campaign for Miss Scotland, Linzi received praise for fundraising hundreds of pounds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health in memory of her dad, whom she lost to suicide in 2013.

Linzi said she will be a role model and ambassador for people who can relate to her story of overcoming a tragedy and using it to make her stronger.

Linzi is a mental health and suicide awareness ambassador and has recently undertaken our accredited 2-day Mental Health First Aid course in our Glasgow office.

One of the first projects Linzi will take on for St Andrew’s First Aid is participating in the 2019 Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise awareness and funds for our fist aid charity.

We are grateful to Miss UK for joining our St Andrew’s First Aid team as our 2019 Charity Ambassador and helping us to raise awareness of our important community first aid projects.
