FUNDRAISING WITH ST ANDREW’S FIRST AID
We never forget that our work is only possible due to the time and generosity of others.
By making a donation to St Andrew’s First Aid today, you will make a tremendous difference to our work and ensure that our essential and vital first aid training will continue to be provided for all who need it. You will help to fund the vital work we do and help us build community resilience which makes Scotland a safer place to live, work and play.
Together, we can save lives.Thank you.
We need to raise £10,000
We use these generous size blankets for pillows, or to help elevate limbs, or to help keep our patients warm. They have a solid hemmed edge at each end to help prevent fraying, are lightweight, and trap air in to help keep a patient warm.
FIRST AID TRAINING
We would like to train 2000 people in the community £40,000
Our aim is to provide a series of community based first aid courses which are free to the public. These courses will teach basic lifesaving skills whilst encouraging volunteering with St Andrew’s First Aid.
We need 500 in total £25,000
Every volunteer needs a kit bag, which is packed with first aid materials. These bags need refilled on an annual basis so it is essential that we continue to fundraise to supply these bags.
We need 500 in total £100,000
Our volunteers wear their uniforms with pride. Whilst out in the community or attending events these uniforms make us easily identifiable and endorse our professional reputation as leading providers of first aid in Scotland.
AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR
We need 10 in total £14,450
For a sudden cardiac arrest the chances of survival decrease by 7-10% for every minute that the casualty goes without defibrillation. Can you save him? Without an AED the likely answer is ‘no’. This year we are fundraising to equip our volunteers with training AEDs.
