The A Team

There’s never a dull moment for a St Andrew’s First Aid volunteer! Whether out on duty at a sporting event or a village fayre, our volunteers give up countless hours of their free time to keep everyone safe at events and spread the news that first aid saves lives. We could not cover the vast amount of events that we do without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers.
Over the past few months the St Andrew’s team has been out across the country – come rain (mostly rain!) or shine – providing the highest standards in first aid. Not only have our lifesaving team attended events, volunteers have also been passing on their first aid knowledge to community groups and schools in their local area, helping us on our mission to create a nation of lifesavers.

Here is just a very small selection of some of the events St Andrew’s First Aid volunteers have attended recently:
• Crail Raceway Drag and Drift

• Classic Rock USA

• Music Festival at Bayview

• Football fixtures across the country

• The View concert at the Barrowlands

• The British Pipe Band Championship

• Newhaven Children’s Gala

• Women’s Cancer Challenge – Stornoway

Plus many, many more! Our volunteers’ presence at events and the free demonstrations they provide to local community groups and schools mean that people across Scotland are safer and more informed about the importance of first aid knowledge.
Everyone at St Andrew’s First Aid would like to say thank you to all our amazing volunteers for their continued support; we really couldn’t do it without them.
