St Andrew’s First Aid launches ‘First Aid Summer School’
This summer St Andrew’s First Aid Training and Supplies ltd. is inviting you and your family to learn First Aid at their headquarters in Glasgow or Edinburgh. With just a few weeks of summer holidays left why not set a good example to your kids and learn First Aid with them.
You never know when you’re going to need First Aid, and by encouraging your family to learn now you will lay the foundation for skills which they will keep with them through life. Our Family First Aid course takes just 4 hours to complete and is made fun and interesting by our highly skilled training staff. Participants will learn how to deal with choking in adults, children and babies as well as how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. In addition to this there will also be training on dealing with burns, wounds and bleeding. Attendees will leave feeling confident that they know how to cope in any family First Aid emergency.
Research has shown that 45% of Scottish parents would not be confident of knowing what to do if their own 10 year old child was choking. Despite the difference it could make, relatively few Scots are trained in the specialist skills required to administer First Aid to a child with four in five adults in Scotland who haven’t, or can’t recall, undertaking first aid training related to children.
This summer St Andrew’s First Aid Training and Supplies ltd. is offering the Family First Aid course at a special price of £31 plus VAT for an adult and two children. The course will be delivered both from their National Headquarters in Glasgow and their Regional Headquarters in Edinburgh.
