| The Standalone AED Trainer is ideal whether you are a First Aid Trainer looking for a Training Unit to teach defibrillator use to students or if you have a defibrillator on-site and wish to have a dedicated training unit to keep your staffs skills up-to-date. The unit can be used to instruct students in the various operating modes of the Lifeline Series AEDs, and in the use of an AED as part of a standard rescue protocol. The trainer unit is similar to a functional AED in form and operation, but all rubberized exterior surfaces are red, instead of black, to clearly distinguish the unit as a training device that cannot be used to defibrillate a real patient.
