First Aid at Work - scheduled courses
HSE Approved 'First Aid at Work' (FAW)
Enables an employee to be designated as a First Aider within the workplace. The course can be undertaken as day release (one day a week over four weeks) or as a block course (on consecutive days in one week). On completion candidates are awarded an HSE Approved 'First Aid at Work' certificate which is valid for three years. more details
HSE Approved 'First Aid at Work' Requalification
This two day requalification course (1 day per week or over two consecutive days) enables employees to renew their certificate before it expires. Successful candidates are awarded an HSE Approved 'First Aid at Work' certificate which is valid for a further three years.

Appointed Persons
This is a one day course suitable for "Appointed Persons" under the Health and Safety Regulations. A certificate of attendance is presented and the training should be repeated every three years as a minimum. more details
