Junior First Aid

Our Junior course (for ages 11 to 15) and Junior Preliminary course (ages 8 to 11) cover the basics of First Aid, including:

  • Managing an incident
  • Disorders of breathing including CPR
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Disorders of the brain
  • Burns and scalds
  • Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
  • Heart attack
  • Effects of heat and cold

Certification

The certificate for successful completion of these courses is valid for three years

Anyone of 15 years and over can undertake the Standard First Aid course
