St Andrew’s in the Highlands

Volunteers from our three companies in the Highlands (East Ross, Fort William and Thurso) attend more than 100 events per year including regular sports fixtures such as Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle soccer matches, rugby, riding events and car rallies, treating casualties of all kinds. In the past we’ve even saved the life of a heart attack victim.

We are trained to handle radio communication at major public events, incident management and multiple casualty handling.

We also run a range of First Aid and health-related courses throughout the Highlands of Scotland, including:

• Standard First Aid
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Anaphylaxis Awareness
• Baby and Child First Aid
• Sports Injury First Aid
• Using a defribrillator
