The local volunteer companies in Fife run Standard First Aid classes for the public betweeen September and December and between January and April.
These classes are normally held in two-hour, weekly sessions over 12 weeks (24 hours in total) in most major towns within Fife, usually in the evenings between 7pm and 9pm. Costs may vary (depending on the venue) but are usually between £30 and £50 per person.
At the end of the course you will be awarded a certificate which is valid for 3 years. Assessement is on a continual basis throughout your course which eliminates the need for a final assessment. Please note, this course is not suitable for qualification as a First Aider in the workplace. See our guidelines for First Aid in the workplace.
