St Andrew’s in Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders

Evolving from the formation in 1884 of the Edinburgh District Committee, the Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders Executive Committee (ELBEC) now manages the 23 local Companies in the area, located from Aberlady in the East to West Calder in the West.

Our volunteer members provide First Aid cover at numerous sporting, social and cultural events, including:

Sport: Rugby Internationals at Murrayfield; Premier League Football at Heart of Midlothian FC; Hibernian FC and Livingston FC.

Theatres and Concerts: Usher Hall, Festival Theatre, Queens Hall, Corn Exchange. First Aid cover has also been provided at concerts held at Edinburgh Castle, Murrayfield and Easter Road stadium.

Other events: The Edinburgh Military Tattoo; Edinburgh Hogmanay Street Party; Festival Cavalcade and the Royal Highland Show
