Volunteering

Adults

Have you ever thought of volunteering? In Dundee & Angus our volunteers get involved in all sorts of events, from concerts at Caird Hall to football at Dens Park, major golf tournaments to T in the Park. Many others help with fundraising and other essential support that helps us to provide a service in the community. Find out more about volunteering with St Andrew’s or contact us at the Dundee office to see how you could get involved.

Cadets

Do you want to meet new friends, take on new challenges and learn new skills?
St Andrew’s Cadets could be for you! Especially for young people between 11 and 15, St Andrew's Cadets enjoy a huge range of hobbies, skills and sports. You can also learn life-saving First Aid and caring skills, and can work towards our top awards - the Patron’s Badge, awarded for demonstrating skills in various categories such as Sport & Leisure, Communication, Health & Safety, Hobbies & Pastimes as well as gaining First Aid qualifications.

Cadet Camp
Cadets can also come along to our annual camp - its very popular, and no wonder! You'll have the chance to take part in a wide choice of activities, including abseiling, gorge walking and archery, or you could try your luck on the assault course or the "Flying Fox" as well as making lots of new friends.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
As a Cadet, you can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. It's recognized all over the world as one of the most distinguished awards a young person can achieve, and it brings new and exciting challenges.
