Volunteer Training Fund

Thanks to funding from ExxonMobil, community groups, youth organisations and charities in Grampian and Fife have been able to access St. Andrew’s First Aid training at no cost.
Many voluntary organisations require First Aid training for their members and by applying to this fund they could receive that training without having to use their own valuable resources. In addition, St. Andrew’s benefits directly as all income generated from the courses allows us to further our own voluntary work in the region.
One of the first organisations to benefit from the ExxonMobil funded training was the Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association (GCRA). GCRA is voluntary body that manages and supports cardiac rehabilitation exercise classes in the community throughout the Grampian area.
Race sponsorship at Hamilton Park

An "in kind" donation of race sponsorship offered by Hamilton Park Race Course saw the 4th race of the 22 August meeting named the St. Andrew's First Aid Handicap Stakes. Free race card advertising also ensured fanastic recognition for the volunteers who regularly provide First Aid cover there. It also meant that the name of St Andrew’s First Aid could be seen in all racing sections of national papers.
And well done to the 3-1 winner Distant Sun !
