St Andrew’s Badgers (6 to 10 years)

St Andrew’s Badgers are for 6 to 10 year olds and provide an opportunity for young people to meet with others in their age group and participate in a programme of stimulating and interesting activities.

The Badger activities are designed to encourage young people to develop life skills and have fun while learning about and trying out new things. The course also helps to develop confidence and obtain a sense of achievement in a safe and fun environment. Some of the topics covered include: first aid, health, hobbies, safety, games, communication and caring. Badger groups currently run in:

• Dundee
• Edinburgh
• Glasgow
• Highlands
• South Lanarkshire

After the age of 11 a Badger can move into the Cadets where they will continue to develop their skills and further their achievements.
