First Aid Funding in Grampian
St Andrew’s has received a further £10,000 donation from ExxonMobil to fund First Aid training for members of community groups, youth and charitable organisations within the Grampian area.

A similar donation in 2006 funded the training of 276 members from groups in the Grampian area, including users of the Auchnagatt Village Hall. A condition of the lease requires that all users of the hall have a trained First Aider in attendance and by applying to this fund they were able to receive the necessary training without having to use their own valuable resources.
Bob Thomson, Manager of the Grampian branch of St. Andrew’s said, “Many voluntary organisations require First Aid qualifications for their members and we are delighted that the success of last year’s initiative will continue with this additional donation from ExxonMobil”
Other organisations which received training in 2006 through the Exxon Mobil fund include Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association, Banff & District Riding for the Disabled, Aberdeen Arts Centre, Princes Trust - Peterhead, Alzheimer Scotland Support Group, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Aberdeen & North East Deaf Society and Take-A-Break – Inverurie.
