Andy the Badger comes a close second at Ayr Races
Andy the badger was fighting fit on Saturday 23 June at the Scottish Sun Mascot Derby at Ayr Racecourse.

Having passed his pre-race fitness test, Andy was raring to go. |
The race started and Andy ran like he's never ran before, faster and faster - looks like he's going to win ...... |
oh no ....... just as Andy makes a concerted effort at the last few yards, Rory the Lion edges past and pips Andy at the post. So Andy is placed a very close second place. |
Andy's First Aid friends were on hand to ensure he had everything he needed to rehydrate him and he's now looking forward to beating Rory next time !
